Development of finishing processes for aluminum alloys using sustainable galvanic processes
The project, lasting three years, provides for the inclusion of an industrial PhD student with the aim of developing innovative cycles of finishing aluminum (and its alloys) free from nickel and cyanides.

Project aimed at the development and creation of an innovative machine prototype for the production of brass chains, with innovative welding techniques, for the subsequent study of cleaning techniques with Electron Beam technologies and the final coating with lead-free galvanic processes and Nickel.

The aim of the project was to develop and apply a technological innovation relating to the galvanic deposition of noble material on steel and aluminum substrates, together with the development of special surface finishing treatments. The fundamental purpose is to be able to have alternatives to precious raw materials that are difficult to find or high cost in the field of fashion jewelry and fashion accessories.
